SPW returns to Morden, Manitoba!
Steeltown Pro will be returning to Morden, Manitoba at the Morden Community Centre on Friday May 14th, 2010!
After a great turn out and support for the Morden debut on January 16th SPW officials are quite happy about this return date. Here is what SPW President Dale Barnett had to say:
Well the first go around was a great turn out. You never know what to expect when debuting in a new market but it was well worth the gamble. The fans were great, the sponsors were great and it will be even better the second time around! I’m looking forward to going back there. Not to mention it’s an absolutely beautiful community with lots of heritage.
Local wrestling star and SPW staffer Jethro Hawg was equally happy:
When it was all said and done on January 16th I knew we’d be coming back sooner than later. The fans were loud all night and were already asking about a return date by the time the final bell sounded. I live in the area, I have family in Morden, and so I’m super excited about round two!
