SPW Tag Team Champions…Who will they be?

In October 2009 the road to the SPW Tag Team Title began and it all comes to a head on Saturday April 17, 2010 at the 2nd Anniversary Show. With six teams planned to do battle Steeltown Pro will crown the first ever SPW Tag Team Champions!

Five teams have qualified over the last six months with a sixth team being considered a “wild card”. The following teams are qualified:

-Jerin Rose and Alex Shaver
-Billy Blaze and Gibby Guerrero
-Bad to the Bone
-Mr. Nasty and DOOM
-Zack Mercury and Shadow Xtreme

Speculation regarding the “wild card” team has already begun. Among some of the teams named are the Submission Squad, Hoodwinked, Bobby Jay and Larry Lipton, Team 24/7 and The Heavy Metal Experience featuring the Big Jess Band. Some think it will be a new team that have never before wrestled for SPW contributing to the “element of surprise”.

Regardless of the sixth team SPW will be crowing its first pair of champions in a 6-Way Tag Team Steeltown Showdown, the first ever in SPW history! The time is now! Come to the Selkirk Memorial Hall on Saturday April 17th to witness the crowning of the inaugural SPW Tag Team Champions!
