WWE Legend Bushwhacker Luke signed on with Steeltown Pro Wrestling in August 2010 to be a part of the first two SPW SHOWDOWN TV tapings.  Since his debut he’s been a regular feature on SPW SHOWDOWN, available on-demand at GoFightLive.tv.  Appearing on numerous episodes and scoring some pin fall victories along the way, Bushwhacker Luke was signed to challenge SYKO for the SPW Provincial Title on SPW SHOWDOWN: Episode 5.

When the dust settled, SYKO was lying on his back and Bushwhacker Luke was raising the SPW Provincial Championship high above his head, signalling a changing of the guard.  The forty plus year veteran of the ring added yet another piece of gold to his trophy case, just as he had promised.

The scene backstage was like a party with Luke being greeted by several SPW stars such as Chi Chi Cruz, Chip Fletcher, Matt Fairlane, Gibby Guerrero, Jay Lanza and so many more.  They congratulated the legend on a job well done!  But when you win a championship the celebration is short lived.

Several challengers have already emerged.  SYKO is looking to get back what he feels is his.  Jay Lanza has been fighting to get back in contention.  Bobby Jay hates Bushwhacker Luke following his loss to him on SPW SHOWDOWN: Episode 2 and would love to get revenge.  Ike Idol is the official #1 Contender to the Provincial Title and is first in a growing line of challengers.
