Forming a team in January 2011, Chip Fletcher and Mike Mission were not expected to make such an impact so early.  Receiving a SPW Tag Team Title Match at Raising the Stakes 2011, Mission and Fletcher made the most of their opportunity by upsetting Big Cliff Corleone and Reggie Gallagher to become the third SPW Tag Team Champions in history.

The story of an ageing veteran and up and coming rookie, Fletcher has taken steps to guide Mike Mission’s budding career.  The championship victory marked the first championship for Mike Mission and the first in well over a decade for Chip Fletcher.  Going into his hometown of Arborg, Manitoba as SPW Tag Team Champion has Chip Fletcher elated as he’s eager to defend his newly won gold in front of friends and family.

A rivalry between SYKO and Chip Fletcher going back several months and Fletcher’s title win got SPW officials thinking.  In August 2010 it was Fletcher who cost SYKO the SPW Provincial Title in a match against Bushwhacker Luke and now SYKO may have his chance at revenge with a chance to dethrone Fletcher as SPW Tag Team Champion.

On Saturday March 26th at the Arborg BiFrost Community Centre, SPW Tag Team Champions Chip Fletcher and “Misfit” Mike Mission will defend their titles against the Family of Darkness comprised of SYKO and “Really Crazy” Rob Stardom.
