Ike Idol wears gold again

He was SPW Provincial Champion from April 2009 to August 2009.

He won the TRCW Heavyweight Title last February.

And now, for a second time, “Iron” Ike Idol reigns as SPW Provincial Champion.

In contrast to the SPW Heavyweight Title, there have been several SPW Provincial Champions, including 2-time champions such as La Sombra, The Epic and now Ike Idol.  Making it that much sweeter is who Idol defeated to capture the championship, none other than WWE Legend Bushwhacker Luke.  Bushwhacker Luke defeated Syko to lay claim to the SPW Provincial Title.

Arguably the biggest victory of his career, Ike Idol now sits atop the SPW Provincial Title Division looking down on a long list of challengers that include former champions Jay Lanza, Syko and La Sombra as well as Shadow Xtreme, Mike Mission and Mr. Nasty.

What does Ike Idol think of his victory over Bushwhacker Luke?  What does he make of being a 2-time SPW Provincial Champion?  We caught up with him and got answers to these questions straight from the horse’s mouth.

What I say goes.  I said I would become number 1 contender and I did.  I said I’d win the title back and I did.  I say that in 2010 I would dominate Steeltown Pro and I am!  I am “Iron” Ike Idol, I do what I say and I say what I do because I don’t play by any rules but my own.
