SPW Training Academy seeks new students

With the recent successes of several SPW Training Academy students and several e-mails inquiring about how to become a pro wrestling, SPW officials have decided to make an open call to anyone that wishes to get into the wrestling business.  Whether you’re looking to become a significant part of the wrestling industry or you’re just looking to fulfill a life long dream, SPW wants to help you!

Steeltown Pro Wrestling will be holding tryouts before each live event to test your desire to become a professional wrestler.  Try-outs are $40.00 per person and if you’re under the age of 18 you will need parental consent.  Depending on your performance during the try-out session you may be welcomed to become a regular student of the SPW Training Academy and train with wrestlers such as former NWA Canadian Champion Rob Stardom and “Canadian Wrestling Legend” Chi Chi Cruz.

SPW Training Academy students have also been given the opportunity to attend wrestling seminars with special guest trainers such as 2-time ROH World Champion Austin Aries, WWE Legend Rick “the Model” Martel and former ECW & NWA World Champion Raven.

Some of our past students/graduates include: referee Pierre North, SPW Tag Team Champion Alex Shaver, Mr. Nasty, Shadow Xtreme and SPW Provincial Champion Jay Lanza.

If in-ring competition isn’t for you the SPW Training Academy has other options from being a referee, manager/valet, ring announcer, commentator, camera man or more.  Contact us for more details!
