cutting edge wrestling inter-cities title
The Cutting Edge Wrestling Inter-Cities Championship has a long and storied history with over 10 years in existence. Over the last decade the title has travelled across Canada being defended in Newfoundland, Quebec, Manitoba and Alberta. Former CEW Inter-Cities Champions include TNT, Magnus, Chris Payne, Heavy Metal and the internationally travelled Mentallo!
The title was first recognized by its home promotion Cutting Edge Wrestling based out of Newfoundland. Its first champion TNT would defend the title all over the Maritimes as well as in Northern Championship Wrestling based in Quebec. Former champion Mentallo went on to work for Harely Race’s World League Wrestling, CMLL in Mexico, SMASH in Japan and Lucha Libre USA on MTV. Big Jess established the title in Alberta defending the title in Real Canadian Wrestling before losing it to Matt Fairlane in Selkirk, Manitoba.
