Raising the Stakes: SPW Heavyweight Title
La Sombra defends the SPW Heavyweight Championship this Sunday February 19th at Raising the Stakes 2012!
Known as the “German Juggernaut”, La Sombra will defend the SPW Heavyweight Championship against the nearly 400 lbs monster, Moses Luke. And if the 250 lbs weight difference wasn’t enough, SPW officials added a special stipulation making this a Tables Match!
Never deterred by size discrepancies, La Sombra is no stranger to standing across the ring from men more than twice his size. La Sombra has also developed a reputation for excelling in stipulation matches with victories in a Ladder Match at Raising the Stakes 2011, a Hardcore 6-Way Steeltown Showdown at the 3rd Anniversary Show as well as a Casket Match and Lumberjack Weapons Match this past January. If those matches are any indication a Tables Match is right up La Sombra’s alley!
On the other side of the coin, Moses Luke is a massive beast with his own reputation for hardcore style matches dating back several years. Luke is adept to championship matches having held several versions of both the tag team and heavyweight championships throughout his career. The “German Juggernaut” will be looking to add the SPW Heavyweight Championship to his collection this Sunday at Raising the Stakes 2012!
