SPW: We love to give back!

From very early on Steeltown Pro Wrestling was aware of the importance of giving back to the communities where they ran live events.  After all, with out the support of local fans and businesses we’d have little reason to exist!  Call it philanthropy or corporate citizenship; call it whatever you like…SPW prides itself on giving back!

SPW has been able to give back in a number of ways, mainly by partnering up with local charities or groups to help raise funds or by donating tickets to other charitable organizations to be given to their clients or business partners or even re-sold to assist in fund raising efforts.

In 2009 SPW helped raise funds for a number of groups that included graduation committees, sports teams, recreation committees, the Children’s Wish Foundation and food banks totalling more than $2375.

Over the course of the last two years SPW has been actively donating tickets to our events to a variety of places that have included senior centre, personal care homes for the learning disables, youth drop-in centres, schools, hospitals, Big Brother/Big Sisters and such charitable groups as the Siloam Mission  and Special Olympics just to name a few.

The gift of giving is one that SPW has truly embraced.
